We are pleased to announce that we have been selected by the Greater Toronto Airports Authority (GTAA) to develop their Transformative Capital Plan.

Zeidler Architecture have formed a strategic partnership with US aviation consulting firm Merchant Aviation, a subsidiary of Group ADP, to deliver the work.

The pandemic has impacted the aviation industry as they encounter shifts in travel markets, new health requirements, and new regulatory frameworks. As a result, airlines and airports have had to adapt and react to changing demands.

The GTAA’s Transformative Capital Plan will define the emerging post COVID-19 “Airport of the Future”. Our work will help the GTAA establish the projects and programs that need to be implemented, as well as their required capital needs and financial feasibility in order to support this transformation.

The project is being led by Partner Edward Chan, Associate Bradley Collard, and Principal Andrea Tocchini.
