Responding to the City’s urban revitalization project along the Broadway corridor, our team—including James Brown, Srinidhi Sridhar, Chris Joslin, Vladimir Andreev, and Sukhpreet Kaur—developed a dynamic hotel design that activates the public realm and takes full advantage of its location. Drawing inspiration from the local context, community, and site conditions, every element of the building is designed to enhance public engagement at street level and add to the vibrancy of the neighbourhood. The hotel will offer a premium experience for guests, with 151 rooms boasting breathtaking views of the city and the North Shore mountains. Designed to enrich the guest experience, the building is also a product of the various technical needs including site constraints and natural factors.
As we continue to expand our portfolio of work in Vancouver, it is great to see our projects become noteworthy projects for the community. Our team recently completed the Youth Mobile Team Social Space which allows Vancouver Coastal Health the ability to provide forward-thinking services, support, and outreach to Downtown Eastside Vancouver. Youth Mobile has received significant coverage and feedback, reiterating its positive impact on the community. Other recently completed health care projects include the Ministry of Children and Family Development service offices in Port Moody and Duncan. We look forward to providing more updates on our ongoing projects such as Duncan Theatre, 791 West Georgia, CF Richmond Centre and our various Seniors Living and residential developments as they progress.
