We worked closely with GH+A Design to make the spacious hall more efficient while offering a sleek modern design and inviting space for shoppers to gather. We began by retiring the carousel to its new long-term home at Spruce Meadows. The renovation was divided into two phases, allowing half of the hall to remain open to shoppers. Carefully scheduled evening construction also helped reduce noise during regular shopping hours. The resulting new Dining Hall now offers 835 seats, 20 dining options, and a fresh take on the mall dining experience.
The new design applies a bold colour palette of dark greys and black against white mosaic tile and wood finishes. Simplified low walls delineate each eating area, defining more intimate booths and numerous upgraded communal tables which allow groups of varied sizes to dine together.
