Project Details

A lively place to shop, dine and work, Aspen Landing is a community-oriented destination providing boutique retail, dining and office space. The unique architecture of the one- and two-storey buildings that intertwine with public spaces dispersed along the Main Street evoke a pedestrian village ambiance.

Bordered by a natural hillside, a water feature and pathway connections, Aspen Landing carefully balances pedestrian access and vehicular flow. Pathways lead pedestrians through the centre, with ample plazas providing opportunities for gatherings and creating a sense of place.

The village centre is a pedestrian-oriented enclave accented with soft landscaping, inviting furnishings and sidewalk detail. The architectural character reinforces the village concept. The contemporary buildings are rich in detail at a scale that reflects the surrounding residential community. The streetscape design is critical to the success of the vision. Massing is expressed as smaller individual tenancies, with articulation on every façade, creating visual interest on all sides.
