We are excited to announce that Queenie Wong has joined Zeidler’s senior leadership team as Partner! She brings to the role two decades of experience that encompasses design, project management, team leadership, mentorship, and operational management.

Working with colleagues who are also friends has been the best part of my long time at Zeidler, and Queenie’s promotion continues that tradition.” 

Since joining Zeidler in 2003, Queenie has exemplified commitment, professionalism, and enthusiasm in supporting our firm’s continual growth. “Queenie is an invaluable member of our team,” says Vaidila. “Her strong leadership skills are evident in the many large-scale projects she manages across Canada.”  

Queenie’s national clients include The Cadillac Fairview Corporation Limited, Oxford Properties Group, Crombie REIT, GWL Realty Advisors, and QuadReal Property Group. She is currently leading multiple complex mixed-use projects across the country centered around creating vibrant urban destinations. Her success is a result of the strong relationships she forms with her clients and her ability to communicate their values and aspirations.  

Queenie became an Associate in 2015 while managing the development of Calgary City Centre, a Class A LEED® Platinum commercial tower. “This time was a pivotal point in my career,” says Queenie. “I was gaining responsibilities and beginning to establish myself with our major clients.” The development won NAIOP Calgary’s Office Development of the Year and Calgary Downtown Association’s Vitality Award for Urban Design. She continues to expand her professional development and business acumen having participated in ULI Toronto’s Urban Leadership Program. She was the 2016 winner of NAIOP’s Greater Toronto Chapter Development Challenge.   

Queenie is a champion of team culture and mentorship. “Ensuring that our people are excited about their projects and that they enjoy coming to work is important to me. We have a lot of good energy in our studios today with a mix of experienced leaders and emerging designers.” In a national role she will continue to foster a collaborative environment that is both stimulating and enjoyable. “There is so much potential for career growth at Zeidler as we’re very open as a company. If you show initiative, you’re encouraged and supported. My journey is an example of this so I’m looking forward to cultivating the same experience for our team.”
