Our lakefront mixed-use building in Kelowna, BC opened April 15, 2020.

Zeidler has been working with RISE Commercial Developments since 2015 and we are excited to celebrate the project as it comes to conclusion. On March 31, 2020 The Shore was granted occupancy, and as of April 15th is officially open to renters. Jean Guy Beliveau, Zeidler’s Partner in Charge for The Shore, says, “What made this possible is the strong relationship and communication of the vision between our team, RISE Commercial Developments, our consultants and the City of Kelowna. The Shore is a true mixed-use project that we are proud to be a part of.” We provided architectural and interior design services.

Just steps away from one of Kelowna’s most popular beaches, Gyro Beach, The Shore features 103 fully furnished rental units, including a combination of summer seasonal rental and student rental apartments on its upper floors. The lower floors are comprised of ample office and retail spaces. The development’s luxurious amenities, proximity to recreation and retail, and beautiful views provides a unique opportunity to experience modern living, on the shore of Okanagan Lake.

Watch the time-lapse video, compliments of Fillmore Construction, to see the journey from breaking ground in spring 2018 to its opening in March 2020.

Congratulations and many thanks to our team and everyone involved, including RISE Commercial Developments, Filmore Construction, Wexford Developments, and all our consultants, trades, city staff, and Zeidler team for making this happen.
