He began working under the mentorship of Eberhard Zeidler, and in his over 35 years of experience since has been instrumental in expanding our firm’s presence internationally. Directing Zeidler’s Canadian offices, he leads with a rare union of creative energy, technical expertise, and strong collaborative skills. Vaidila is a dedicated, ambitious leader, motivating his teams with his personable nature and encouragement of their professional growth.

Vaidila’s diverse experience across industry sectors is recognized having received a number of awards, including those from the Royal Architectural Institute of Canada, Ontario Association of Architects, and Canadian Architect. His relentless drive for excellence extends beyond Zeidler, where he advocates for innovation in the industry in his role as Chair of the Canadian Large Firm Roundtable. He influences the profession by challenging paradigms, ensuring that tomorrow’s building facilitate technological innovation and create places that foster collaboration and intellectual exchange.
