With over 41 years of experience, Maris brings a wealth of knowledge in the retail and commercial sectors. Maris has led teams in multi-million-dollar, complex projects for private clients across Canada and internationally. His reputation in the industry of delivering quality work on time and on budget lends itself to his personable and ambitious leadership style. Maris’ abilities as a leader have been demonstrated on numerous projects, including one of his earlier projects the Fairview Pointe Claire Shopping Centre in Montréal, North America’s first vertical expansion of an operating shopping mall, and the recently completed Nordstrom flagship store at the CF Toronto Eaton Centre.

He is able to use his knowledge and experience to provide clients with attractive and functional developments, ensuring repeat and long-standing relationships. Maris believes simplicity is the essence of building design. A philosophy that aligns with good sustainable design, good functional planning and good business practice – to work hard to do more with less.
