Toronto Eaton Centre Entrance Vestibules

Toronto, Ontario

Design Thinking: Since opening in 1977, the Toronto Eaton Centre has become a landmark, and continues to be the city’s most popular tourist attraction, with an average of 1 million visitors every week. The newly designed vestibules are at a busy thoroughfare of the mall connecting the plaza surrounding Church of the Holy Trinity and Bay Streets with the high traffic façade on Yonge Street.

Key Features: Our design incorporates a new automatic high efficiency glazed sliding door system for improved circulation and better ventilation control. The vestibules are punctuated by new canopies with integrated backlit signage for a better wayfinding and pedestrian experience. Zeidler continues to update the entrances vestibules at multiple locations around the Eaton Centre.
