Mike is driven by design that is both functionally and aesthetically pleasing. His hands-on leadership style has enabled him to deliver some of Zeidler’s most significant institutional projects in the over 30 years he has been with the firm. Mike is a strong technical designer and an expert in envelope design and detailing. He is instrumental in guiding the technical development of our junior designers through one-on-one mentoring.

When faced with challenges, Mike is relentlessly optimistic. He is able to navigate obstacles using his practical approach to problem solving, leading a diverse team to achieve each project’s vision. His relaxed and cooperative approach enables him to develop successful, trusted relationships with those around him. This approach has been successful on his multiple engagements as executive project manager on high-profile projects and in partnership with international design firms. He is a well-organized leader, devoted to fulfilling his responsibilities with good humour and reliable delivery.
