The Zeidler Experience

Zeidler Architecture’s Calgary Studio is now looking to bring on a summer student from the Architectural Technologist program to support very exciting ongoing projects and build on their work experience. 

  • Design focused firm with innovative technical expertise
  • Diversity of project types including commercial, health care, institutional, entertainment, hospitality and a full range of international projects
  • Collaborative studio
  • Vibrant mentorship program with knowledgeable and understanding mentors
  • Participate and gain knowledge in all aspects of practice
  • Social gathering and townhall events for staff and students
  • Overtime pay for hours worked beyond 37.5 hours per week

Job Responsibilities and Skills Gained

  • Participation in the preparation of drawing packages for various permit submission and/or construction documentation
  • Product research including building components and systems
  • Collaboration within a team
  • Management of timing and deadlines

What You Will Bring

  • Strong knowledge with Rhino, AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp and Adobe Creative Suites
  • Vibrant and professional demeanor
  • Self-starter, highly motivated and ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks with organization and efficiency
  • Ability to work both independently and with a team on tight deadlines
  • Strong attention to detail
