Bow Valley Square
Client: Oxford Properties Group
Zeidler has been working with Oxford since 2013 to create a plaza courtyard space and service amenity space for Bow Valley Square downtown.
Bow Valley Square, part of the Oxford portfolio, comprises 1,370,000 s.f. of Class AA office space in four towers built between 1972 and 1981, interconnected by a 97,000 square foot, two-level podium of retail.
In 2012, Zeidler BKDI worked in association with B+H Architects on the Bow Valley Square Revitalization project. The dramatic renovation included the redesign of new entry structures on both the west and east façades as well as the development of new entry lobbies into three of the four on-site towers to improve the functional requirements of pedestrian access. The project refurbished the design and finishes off the ground level interiors, +15 and +30 levels, and retail spaces. The project has achieved LEED Canada CI Gold Certification and was awarded Best Renovated Building in BOMA’s Outstanding Building of the Year Awards in 2012.
